Sussex, in the se of England has a plethora of attractive public landscaped gardens for horticulturists to enjoy. In this article, I will detail 3 of the most useful (in no particular order).
Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens
Grade I listed Leonardslee rests inside a valley full of 7 meandering lakes and comprises 240 acres. Many types of flowers including Magnolias, Azaleas, Camellias and Rhododendrons are saved to display here.
With its miniature model Victorian town and Victorian motor car exhibit, Leonardslee is another excellent place to take the (grand)kids to have an enjoyable day out.
Admission costs £9 on weekends and Bank Holidays, £8 on week days and landscaping perth £6.50 at all in other cases. Children can gain entry for the paltry sum of £4.
Sheffield Park Garden
Centrepieced by 4 lakes in the original plot, Sheffield Park Landscaped Garden features bluebells and daffodils inside spring, rhododendrons and azaleas in summer. In autumn the best place is spectacular having its natural colours from the seemingly endless trees and plants.
Prices at Sheffield Park Garden change rather frequently therefore it is impossible to offer an exact notion of cost, however, at time of writing, an adult ticket cost £7.70 and it’s also £3.85 for Children. Family tickets cost £19.25.
Nymans
Much smaller and more intimate as opposed to previous 2 gardens stated earlier, however this place is often a gem.
